InternetFame Officials Evaluate the Rapid Rise of Digital Marketing Demand Among German Businesses

Germany's digital economy continues to expand at a remarkable pace, with social media adoption and marketing investments reaching unprecedented levels. The country's digital marketing sector, already valued at $14.5 billion, is projected to grow significantly over the next decade, signaling a structural shift in how businesses engage with consumers. Influencer marketing adoption among German brands surged from 62 percent in 2023 to 76 percent in 2025, reflecting the growing importance of authentic digital outreach. Social commerce has emerged as a powerful driver, with 60 percent of German online shoppers now making purchases directly through social media platforms. In light of these developments, the InternetFame team emphasized their commitment to making professional social media marketing services accessible to businesses of every size across Germany.

According to DataReportal's Digital 2026 report, Germany was home to 64.7 million social media user identities as of October 2025, representing 77.1 percent of the total population. Internet penetration in the country has reached 93.5 percent, with 78.9 million individuals actively using the internet on a regular basis. Expert Market Research data further indicates that Germany's digital marketing market reached approximately $14.5 billion in 2023 and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 7.9 percent, potentially reaching $28.87 billion by 2032. Statista's market outlook forecasts Germany's social media advertising market to reach $4.9 billion by 2028, driven by increasing mobile usage and advanced audience targeting capabilities. These figures underscore the central and expanding role that social media platforms now play in shaping both consumer behavior and business strategies across the German market.

The accelerating digital transformation in Germany has opened significant opportunities for service providers focused on social media growth and engagement. InternetFame officials highlighted the necessity of delivering practical, results-driven solutions in this evolving landscape. "We are witnessing unprecedented demand from small and medium-sized businesses that need professional social media growth services but have been underserved by the market," the InternetFame team stated. "Our platform was built to bridge the gap between what large corporations invest in digital marketing and what smaller businesses need to compete effectively. The data is clear — social media presence is no longer optional for German businesses, it is fundamental to customer acquisition, brand loyalty, and sustainable growth."

'Digital Visibility Has Become a Core Business Investment'

Research and Markets' 2025 databook reveals that Germany's social commerce market is expected to reach $6.19 billion by 2025, growing at an annual rate of 8.8 percent, with momentum projected to continue at a compound annual growth rate of 6.5 percent through 2030, pushing the market toward $8.46 billion. Statista's analysis of the influencer advertising segment shows that ad spending in Germany reached approximately 700 million euros in 2024, with forecasts pointing toward a market volume exceeding 1 billion euros by 2029. The pace of adoption has been equally striking — influencer marketing usage among German brands climbed from 62 percent in 2023 to 76 percent in just two years. Instagram maintains its position as the leading platform for brand-consumer engagement, while TikTok has rapidly established itself as the dominant channel for viral campaigns targeting younger demographics. YouTube continues to hold strong ground in educational, fitness, and technology content verticals, reaching over 77 percent of Germany's total population through its advertising network. These converging trends reflect a broader reallocation of marketing budgets from traditional channels toward digital-first strategies, creating a highly competitive environment where consistent social media presence has become essential.

The InternetFame team noted that these market dynamics are directly reflected in the growing demand for their platform's services. "The shift toward social media marketing is not a temporary phenomenon — it represents a structural change in how German consumers discover, evaluate, and engage with brands," InternetFame officials explained. "We have experienced a sharp increase in demand from businesses across diverse sectors, including retail, hospitality, professional services, and technology startups, all seeking reliable pathways to grow their digital audience. InternetFame delivers comprehensive solutions spanning follower growth, engagement optimization, and viewership campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, enabling businesses to build and strengthen their digital presence with measurable results."

Social Commerce and Influencer Marketing Reshape Germany's Digital Landscape

The convergence of social media and e-commerce has produced a transformative shift in the German retail ecosystem, altering how consumers research products, compare brands, and make purchasing decisions. By 2024, an estimated 60 percent of German online shoppers were completing transactions through social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, according to Research and Markets' analysis. Meta's platforms alone captured an estimated 57 percent of social commerce revenues in Germany in 2023, demonstrating the dominant influence of integrated shopping features and seamless payment systems. A Mintel consumer report found that 51 percent of Germans aged 16 to 34 consider social media essential when researching brands, positioning these platforms as a critical touchpoint in the modern purchasing journey. The rise of micro and nano influencers has further accelerated the market's evolution, as brands increasingly prioritize authenticity and targeted audience connections over mass-market reach. Simultaneously, Mintel data indicates that 67 percent of German social media users perceive influencer content as becoming increasingly homogeneous, driving a growing demand for genuinely distinctive and value-driven content strategies. This evolving consumer sentiment signals that businesses investing in authentic, differentiated social media engagement will hold a meaningful competitive advantage in the years ahead.

International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research (ICMR) 2023

International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research (ICMR) 2023 will bring together academics and industry practitioners from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds (including robotics, engineering, AI, computer science, social science, humanities, design, and law). Defining autonomous systems as systems involving software applications, machines, and people, which are able to take actions with little or no human supervision, the workshop will explore different definitions and individual aspects of trust from a multidisciplinary perspective. We are interested in several factors contributing to the trustworthiness of autonomous systems, which include but not limited to the following: robustness and resilience in dynamic and uncertain environments; the assurance of the design and operation of autonomous systems through verification and validation processes; the confidence the systems inspire as they evolve their functionality, their explainability, accountability, and understandability to a diverse set of users; defences against attacks on the systems, users, and the environment they are deployed in; governance and the regulation of their design and operation; and the consideration of human values and ethics in their development and use.

Trust is a multi-dimensional issue and is conceptualised differently by a range of disciplines. Hence, we invite novel contributions (short and regular papers with 2-4 and 6 pages respectively) as well as already published journal/conference papers covering a wide set of topics that will be attractive to both technical and non-technical audiences:

  • Methodologies to certify autonomous systems
  • Public perception of autonomous systems
  • Explainable and Interpretable AI solutions for real-world applications
  • Safety and security of autonomous systems
  • Trustworthy and resilient human-machine teaming
  • Regulation
  • Notions of trust in autonomous systems
  • Responsible Research and Innovation for trustworthy AI and autonomous systems
  • Transparency of AI systems
  • System of humans
